This is a full time position Monday- Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, located in Richardson Texas. Overtime may occasionally be required.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and meet the highest customer service standards. Must be patient, compassionate and flexible in working with patients and their caregivers during stressful situations and working under time-sensitive deadlines.

Daily duties include, but not limited to:

• Completing new patient authorization process;

• Communicating with parents or guardians of medically fragile children, case managers, important referral sources and physician’s offices;

• Completing submission and/or follow up on any required documents/forms;

• Completing submission and/or follow up on pre-certification and/or pre-authorization;

• Assisting with answering phones and updating patients on anything related to their accounts.

 

Qualifications:

• Brightree experience required

• DME experience preferred; respiratory and enteral supplies and equipment experience is a plus

• Knowledge of insurance carriers, particularly Medicaid and MCO’s is a plus

• Competence and knowledge of medical terminology is a plus

• Bilingual skills preferred

• Detailed and capable of multi-tasking
