Jesus Rubio is a 22-month-old little boy born with DiGeorge Syndrome.
He enjoys trying new food, playing with his toys and pulling his sister’s hair. He is doted on by his parents and big sisters. Jesus is a happy little guy who has a smile to win any heart.
Jesus came on service with us at Apple HMS in March 2017. He currently has a tracheostomy and is on a ventilator 24 hours a day for life support. He lives in Midland and travels to Houston for doctor visits. Our offices in Abilene and Houston help coordinate these visits with Jesus’ family to provide him with the necessary supplies and equipment in a timely manner.
His future ambitions include crawling, walking and weaning from the ventilator. He continues to improve and to be an inspiration to his family and care team. We wish him the best of luck from all of us at the Apple family!
