Due to the growing concern over the current COVID-19 situation, we wanted to reach out to our patients to offer reassurance. Apple Homecare Medical Supply has been working diligently to develop the best path forward to provide superior service to our patients while ensuring the safety and well-being of both our patients and staff.
We will continue to provide supplies and care to our patients during their regularly scheduled time-frames, but with a few added precautions. In order to decrease exposure risk to you and our staff, we will be implementing a ‘minimal contact’ policy; we will no longer be delivering items inside the homes, but will bring items to your doorstep instead. All delivery technicians and Respiratory Therapists will be disinfecting between visits. In the event that they must enter your home, they will be wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including shoe covers and an N95 facemask. Please ensure only necessary individuals are in the immediate area and help us maintain our ‘minimal contact’ policy.
In order to do our part to diminish the risk of spreading the virus, we have deployed most of our office staff to work remotely from home. You will not see a major impact on your interactions with us, but we do ask that you direct all non-urgent questions to your dedicated team member, or to email@example.com. Calls will be directed to individuals rather than having you hold on the line, so it is possible that you will need to leave a message for us to return your call.
Our request from you is that if you are experiencing or have been exposed to someone with noticeable symptoms such as fever or dry cough, please notify us prior to your delivery, as well as stay home where you can rest and recover.
